A Call to Action – and BC’s May 2013 Election
Too many are still apathetic or uninformed. We need to engage friends and neighbours now, about the government’s coming decision on the Raven Project. CEC may submit its application to open the Raven mine as soon as October 2012. A short public comment period will follow. By that time, public opposition must be huge and active. Whether the Liberals or the NDP win in May, people who oppose the coal mine should be ready with diverse and continuing ways to oppose it. Supporters of DOC and its organizational partners are developing campaign strategies now. Things you can do….
